Here we have Karl Lagerfeld pictured holding the new Laurence Decade design from the Chanel Spring 2009 Cruise Collection. The shoes, which come in different styles including black and silver, will retail for $2,200. These shoes won’t be available in stores, but they will available for pre-order mid-November. There is already a huge waiting list. T

For those of you who are asking who is Karl Lagerfeld? Well he is considered a god to a lot of women out there. Lagerfeld took over as chief designer for Chanel in 1983 and has produced amazing collections over the past 25yrs. Lagerfield is most recognized for his strictly black & white wardrobe and white ponytail. This look is so iconic that it has even been immortalized as a Simpsons character.

Madonna wore the new Chanel shoes, complete with pistol-shaped heels at her “Filth & Wisdom” NYC premiere.

Anti-gun campaigners have denounced Madonna as ‘irresponsible’ and ‘utterly senseless’ for choosing such a design at a time when violent crime involving guns is soaring. Others are saying the Gun Heels Madonna wore that night designed by Laurence Decade are genius. Either way this Sirius design started a big buzz on the net and frankly it reminds me a little of Rose Mcgowan in Quentin Tarentinos Planet Terror. Hmm, I wonder if Laurence designed her prostetic machine gun leg also? lol
