Music sales have become a downward trend.  Today digital media has taken over, and the music industry is forced to change  with constant technological evolution.  I-Tunes, Myspace, Facebook, and Youtube, have all helped the increase in artists creating web based content to reach their fan base and decreased the need for a major record label to distribute their records.  The Hector Fund is offering to finance artists independently for studio time, equipment, and video production.  The Fund also helps artists fund their careers, distribute their content digitally, and market their music without losing creative control.
