Air Jordan 11 “Bred” Release Cancelled in PG County Maryland
Just about 5 days before the release of the extremely sought after “Bred” Air Jordan 11, mass pandemonium has begun. The House Of Hoops in Prince George County was forced to shut down today and cancel the release of the shoe. Of course the police was on the scene and cleared the area immediately. As of right now there are no injuries reported.
This comes as no surprise, especially with the current rise in Sneaker related violence which has gained the attention of mainstream media on what feel like a regular basis. It’s clean that retailers have attempted, and are still very much trying to subdue the violence with the recent implementations of reservations via twitter (which isn’t working Nike) or even pre order tickets, but it seems as though even those measures aren’t enough. I’ve said it in the past and i’ll say it again, brands like Jordan, who hold as much weight as they do need to start taking an active role in trying to avoid these sort of situation, they can’t just throw these shoes at retailers and collect checks any longer.
